Walter Worden
A native of New York State's Hudson Valley, Walter Worden, finds renewed inspration in the extraordinary landscapes the region provides. In much of his recent work, he employs the basic elements of shape and color to create interpretive works within which formal relationships are explored. He has been influenced by such artists as Milton Avery, Henri Matisse, Pierre Bonnard and Pablo Picasso to name just a few.

Worden attended the New England School of Art and the Museum School of The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and has shown his work extensively thoughout New England and New York. He is a former member of the prestigious Copley Society.

Worden's most recent paintings are a result of a three month visit to Trinidad, W.I. where he sketched and painted many aspects and motifs associated with the island's rich and colorful culture
