Art opens up so many possibilities; like a new journey or a distant memory.   Sandra Faland Spitzer Sandra Faland Spitzer grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and currently lives in Orange County. Her artistic ability was noticed at an early age, and she was honored to paint backdrops for performances at Bay Ridge High School.  Spitzer studied painting in Europe, capturing the Norwegian landscape for many years. She was drawn home to the Hudson Valley where she continued her studies with notable workshop artists at the Wallkill River School, and joined a plein air painting group.
