Linda Louise Bartle Resident of the Hudson Valley since 1976 and, as of January 2010, a resident of Yankee Lake. With two art sequences during high school and years of being creative in the field of photography, she decided to actually try her hand at painting and drawing as a student and a member of the Wallkill River School in 2007. Working from sketches, photographs and revisiting places for multiple plein air compositions. Linda is emotionally inspired by what she chooses to paint and hopes to convey that in her compositions. Artist Quote: “My deep connection with nature and my outdoor lifestyle put me in places that I just can’t wait to paint. If I have the chance to paint everything that I have been inspired by I will need one more lifetime after this to satisfy my heart.” |
